Better late than never… the photographic evidence has arrived!
A couple of months ago, Team Servosteel pulled on the shirts and took part in the Comton Group Five-a-Side Tournament.
Did we win either of the two prizes on offer? No.
Did we compete valiantly? Absolutely.
Did everyone make it through without needing to be stretchered off? YES, We’ll call that a result.
A massive thank you to everyone who represented Servosteel, gave it their all and flew the flag for us, plenty of effort, determination and questionable footballing ability on display!
Also, a big thank you to Comton Group for hosting and organising a great event.
And while the football world has been talking about the 115 charges, we’re pleased to confirm that Team Servosteel came away from the tournament
facing just one:
Being guilty of giving 100% as always!
No trophies this time… but there’s always next year!
